Dersin Amacı

TThe Curriculum Development in Foreign Language Teaching MA course explores the principles, models, and practical approaches to designing, implementing, and evaluating effective language curricula. Students examine theoretical frameworks in curriculum design, needs analysis, syllabus construction, and materials development, with attention to learner diversity, communicative competence, and cultural context. The course also addresses assessment alignment, curriculum adaptation, and the integration of technology and innovative pedagogical strategies. Through case studies, project work, and critical analysis of existing curricula, students develop the skills to create research-informed, flexible, and contextually appropriate language programs that respond to the evolving needs of learners and educational institutions
