Dersin İçeriği

Photovoltaic cell technology, working principles (semiconductors, pn junctions, electron-hole generation and extinction mechanisms, etc.), materials (single and multi-crystalline silicon, thin film, organic / inorganic, multi-junction) and manufacturing technologies (crystal growth, doping, chemical vapor deposition, epitaxial growth, anti-reflectance coatings) and installation materials and technology used in solar energy systems.

Dersin Amacı

In this course, development of photovoltaic technology, working principles, materials and production techniques that are used in solar cells, and some nanotechnological applications used in photovoltaic science will be discussed.
